ABOUT ARCHBISHOP EZEKIEL WILLIAMS
Bishop Ezekiel Williams is the General Overseer, Pastor and Founder of Faith World Ministries, Inc. in the City of Norfolk, Virginia. He established the ministry in August of 2011 by conducting Bible Study Services on Wednesday evenings. Since that time the ministry has been growing each week through the preaching of the Word of God and manifestation of spiritual gifts. In January 2012, Pastor Williams launched Saturday Weekend Celebration Services and experienced a phenomenal move of God weekly. As a result of God’s favor, the weekend services transitioned from Saturdays to Sunday mornings at 9am, and a second service at 11am was added. In August of 2015, God blessed Faith World Ministries to acquire a 27,000 sq ft facility right outside the Norfolk International Airport, and we currently hold one Sunday service at 10:00am.
Ezekiel Williams was born and received his formative education in the City of Virginia Beach, Virginia. As a teenager, he served many churches and pastors as a gifted organist, musical director and pastor of music. He studied music at the Virginia Commonwealth University in pursuit of a Piano Performance Degree.
Bishop Williams received his call to the ministry at a very early age, and thankfully answered the call in 1996. He served Bishop J. Douglas Wiley and the Life Center Cathedral of New Orleans, Louisiana for more than 10 years as the Pastor of Music. Additionally he served as Southern Regional Minister of Music of the Full Gospel Baptist Church Fellowship, before he returned to Virginia at the Lord’s command. Bishop Williams has traveled around the world extensively with his musical gifts to places as far as Scandinavia. He continues to do the same with a word of hope, salvation and deliverance in his mouth!
Bishop Williams is favored of the Lord to have served the late Bishop Barnett Karl Thoroughgood and the New Jerusalem Church of God in Christ as Executive Pastor from 2004 to 2012.
In May 2014, Bishop Williams created Faith World Ministries International Assemblies (FWMIA); a fellowship designed to provide a safe environment for pastors, clerics, leaders, as well as lay leaders to be nurtured, covered, and trained in ecclesiastical order, in an effort to facilitate mission work through spiritual guidance.
On Saturday, May 16, 2015, Bishop Carlton Upton, Sr., Bishop Curtis Edmonds, Sr., Bishop Jasper Rolle, Bishop Michael Rogers, Bishop J. Kevin Harris, Bishop Dwight Green, Bishop Darrin Johnson, Bishop Carl Vann, Sr., Bishop Clarence Russell, III., Bishop Anthony Rodgers, Bishop Olive Brown, and Bishop J. Matthew Brown, along with saints from across America, gathered to celebrate the Episcopal Consecration of Pastor Ezekiel Williams to the office of Bishop in the Lord’s church.
He is a member of the Citywide Pastors Crusade Association (CPCA), and was elevated to the office of Metropolitan Archbishop on October 12, 2019, and currently serves his community as Chairman of the Hampton Roads Ecumenical Council of Bishops (founded by the late Bishop B. K. Thoroughgood).
He is the husband of Lady Monique Williams, and the loving father of four daughters; Chanel Kirsten, Jasmine Rochelle, Colette Danielle, Sydney Nicole and one son; Marc Xavier Williams.
